Almost fully fledged now, some 45 days since this shot, these gracefull hunters have been spectacular to view high in our Cal. Pepper tree.  Harrowing to be divebombed by their protective father when they were young, it's been extraordinary to witness these hardworking (bonded for life) parents & their fastidious nesting habits, and their young flourishing this June, 2012.  We hope they'll return for many generations!
